SHINJI'S MISSION: bringing light to you, opening up your eyes, breaking old rules, helping you create your own life, enhancing your imagination, assisting you to find YOU. There are so many things that schools, society and media never taught you. Your life is yours. You don't have to be somebody else anymore. It about time, YOU can be YOU! His mission is to help you find, plan, and create your path with his healing session and art.

He is a light worker, healer, artist and designer currently based in New York city. His winding yet unique life path created what he is now. Who could imagine this shy little boy from Japan, with low self esteem and lack of confidence, would now be standing tall and strong with a full of smile in this big city? Everything started changing when he learned how to believe in himself.

AS AN ARTIST/DESIGNER:Vivid, colorful, and exotic; these are the words you can associate with Shinji's illustration. He receives inspirations from traditional lifestyles, nature, and spirituality. Each of his colorful artwork has a story of life that we all experience and go through: sometimes painful, and sometimes joyful. Every monent in your life happenes with reasons, and it all has lessons to learn. Messages are hidden in his artwork; you can either enjoy finding them, or you can have your own interpretation. You are not just an observer in front of his work. He wants you to join and become a part of the story.

He is a self taught artist, and worked as a Display Designer in New york for 6 years. He studied Display & Exhibit Design at FIT(Fashion Institute of Technology) and graduated in 2002. He won some major competitions and received some awards while at school.

AS A HEALER: Shinji always knew there was something out there more than just our physical bodies in this materialistic world. Something you can feel when you open your mind. He was very spiritual and somewhat different since he was little. He searched, read and experienced so many different things from Yoga, meditation and buddhism, to psychic reading, tarots, hypno therapy and past life regression....

Then he met Reiki. Reiki is a unversal life energy that not only him but anyone can learn and use it for our physical, mental and spiritual health. Now he's a certified Reiki Master/Teacher, providing his healing session in his private office in Manhattan.

Shinji studied Reiki at ICRT(International Center for Reiki Training) and receiced Reiki Master/Teacher degree in September 2008. Also in Novebmer the same year, he received Karuna Reiki® Master degree. He is also an apept at Rocky Mountain Mystery School, and will continue his study.

Currently he is learning Shiatsu, another great holistic technique at Ohashi Institute.
